Desktop Games To Relieve Stress

Stress was a useful response early in our human development, it would help us to run away or stay and fight. However, in the modern world, stress takes its toll on our bodies and minds. And today most of that stress seems to come from one source more than any other: the workplace. The demands, distractions and deadlines all add up and make things more difficult than they really should be. The good news is that there are plenty of ways to reduce that stress. One such way is by playing desktop games. They are a convenient way to relax a bit during your breaks, and can be played right at your desk.

The reason playing desktop games is so good at reducing stress is because they turn your mental focus away from whatever it is that's stressing you out. Games are also a wonderful way to pass the time with friends and family. Add technology to these basic ideas and the options for playing games are more diverse and accessible than ever before.

There are desktop games for virtually every taste. Some are made specifically to be played on the computer, such as Tower Defense, Online Paintball and Desktop Destroyer. These action packed games are all fun ways to help you get through an otherwise stressful day at work, or at home.

Perhaps you don't like to relieve stress by taking out your frustrations in  game, but prefer to engage in mental pursuits to calm yourself down. The good news is that there are no shortage of those types of games either. Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, solitaire, word games and many other mental games can also be found online. The real key is to reducing stress is to change what you are thinking about, and games demand more of your attention, giving you a chance to forget about things for a while.

While exercise isn't really a game, it is something you can do while you are sitting at your desk. This is also a good way to relieve stress. You need to make yourself take a break from things from time to time. Whether your desktop games involve venting your anger, challenging your mind, or moving around a bit; it's important to do something to get your stress under control.

Desktop games are a wonderful way to help relax and take your mind off of things. You don't have to go anywhere special, or dress into different clothes before you start to play. Letting stress build up can take a major toll on your health, and is responsible for any number of various medical problems. Playing games is fun, and it can also help to keep you healthy. Now if that isn't a good reason to play more often, then I don't know what is.

Caffeine Hypoglycemia

If you cannot make it through the day without having a shot or two of caffeine, hypoglycemia may be caused by a condition called adrenal fatigue. You may be experiencing hypoglycemia symptoms and not know why. You know you always eat when you are supposed to and do not overindulge in sweets. Still, hypoglycemia is becoming quite the problem in your life.

Investigate the possibility that you may be suffering from adrenal fatigue. Discovering that you have this disorder may be the ticket to learning how to live a stress-free life. Living a stress-free life is important for you to be able to function on a daily basis to the best of your ability. Every aspect of your life is affected when you are stressed.

Stress is one of those things that creeps up on you slowly. Then all of a sudden it has gotten a hold of you and you find yourself in trouble.

You need to determine what the major source of your stress is. Are you getting the correct amoount of sleep at night? Do you eat right? Are you exercising at least 30 minutes every day? Is your day full of negative emotions and anxiety? If you have answered yes to any of these questions then you probably need to fortify yourself by drinking caffeine several times a day.

If you cannot think clearly unless you have the caffeine hypoglycemia may be the real culprit. Instead of drinking a caffeinated beverage, or at least in addition to, try eating a healthy snack of raw veggies or a piece of fruit and maybe some yogurt in the middle of your day for a nice pick-me-up.

Hypoglycemia is a result of adrenal fatigue because the adrenal gland does not produce the correct levels of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and cortisol to aid the body in the battle against stress. Because these hormones are not at the correct levels in the body then you may find you crave sugar and sweets and even crave caffeine.

Do you eat fast or slow? If you just absolutely get so hungry you can't hardly stand it and then when food is available you eat as if someone is going to take it away from you, you may be suffering from hypoglycemia. If you get real shaky and irritable before you eat also, you may be experiencing low blood sugar.

Pay attention to how you feel right after you eat and then an hour or two later. Does your energy crash and burn after a couple of hours? You may be short on cortisol. Not only does cortisol help you survive the stress in your life, it also helps prevent too much glucose from being absorbed by your blood cells. This is also how cortisol adds to belly fat, the glucose is not used by your blood cells and the insulin will store the excess sugar as fat and deposit that fat in your belly.

If you have adrenal fatigue then your body will experience a burst of energy followed by a lull in energy making you feel like you need to either eat again or drink something with caffeine hypoglycemia is the real culprit in this situation.

Basic Body Building Tips For Women

Despite what the constant barrage of media tells us, the ideal body shape for women is...well, there is no ideal body shape. However, each woman has what she considers her ideal body shape. Hopefully this image will be based on her own desires, and not those that are constantly thrust upon her by a male-dominated industry. So, before we get started with some body building tips for women, I just wanted to say you should be yourself, and set fitness goals that mean something to and forget what anybody else says about it.

Speaking of goals, that's really where you need to start. There are a few things you should keep in mind to help you achieve them. Above all else, your goals need to be realistic. They can still be big, but if they aren't realistic to you, then you will have a hard time staying motivated because you won't see the point. For example, if you are a size 14 and want to get down to a size 4 in two weeks, then that's unrealistic. However, if you say you want to drop one full size every two months until you get down to a size 8, then that's more realistic. Furthermore, it's specific and structured in such a way that you will achieve several mini-goals on your way to your main goal.

The next thing you need to do is decide what fitness means to you. Which body building technique for women you choose will depend largely on what you're trying to achieve. If you want to add muscle mass and bulk up, then you need to lift the heaviest (or close to it) weights you can lift, but only for a few repetitions. If you want toned muscles, then you can use lighter weights, but then you have to do a lot of repetitions. And that's just one example.

Once you have your goals, you need to develop a plan that's best for you personally. This can be tricky as there is so much information out there, and a lot if it is contradictory. The easiest solution is to hire a personal trainer. A trainer will be able to assess where you are, where you want to be and the best way for you to get there. If a trainer won't work for you, then your local gym is your next best option. Ask to speak to someone about your fitness goals, then they can tell you which exercises are best for you, as well as which machines to use and how to use them.

There is more to body building tips for women than exercise. You also need to watch what you eat. A good rule of thumb is to eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. Be sure to get enough sleep so you are ready to take on the day, and to have enough energy for any exercising you'll be doing. Stay motivated, and you'll be happy with the results.

Do You Really Need A Body Building Workout?

Does it seem as though you have tried endless diets, only to find little or no lasting success? If so, then you are not alone. The good news is that a body building workout is just the thing you are looking for. No, I'm not crazy and am certainly not suggesting you start entering bodybuilding contests. This isn't about trying to be bulky and muscle-bound, but rather about getting into shape, once and for all. Sure, you can always try to add lots of muscle mass if that's what you would like to do, but you can also use this type of workout to get toned and lose weight.

Regardless of what those pushing fad diets will tell you, models and celebrities don't look the way they because of diet alone. Their big secret--if there is one--is having personal trainers to develop a customized fitness plan, and to motivate them when they need it. Of course, not everybody can afford personal trainers, but a lot of gyms will have somebody on staff who can help you for free or a lower cost. At the very least they should be able to instruct you in the proper use of any equipment your using.

But, just as models and celebrities don't get in shape through diet alone, neither can you get in shape by just using a body building workout. In fact, it's a good idea to take a look at all of the elements of your current lifestyle. As long as you're trying to get fit, you may as well attack it from as many angles as you can. For example, if you drink too much or are a smoker, then it's time to kick those habits. It won't always be easy, but you'll feel great that you're improving your health in such a powerful way.

When it comes to a body building workout, you need to decide what your main goal is, as it will determine which exercises you will do most often. For the most part, if you are trying to build bigger muscles, then you need to lift more weight, but do fewer repetitions. On the other hand, if you want to be toned--to have more definition to your muscles without looking bulky--then doing a lot of repetitions, but with lighter weights is your best bet.

Healthy eating will help you see more impressive results from your workout efforts. The first thing you need to do is stop eating fast food. Next, try to eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible; refined foods don't have enough nutritional value, and you need to take in calories that are high quality. Load up on as much whole grains, lean protein, healthy fats, and fresh fruits and vegetables as you like.

As you can see, a body building workout is about a lot more than just lifting a few weights. If you want to see real results, and stick to it, then you need to take a complete approach to improving your fitness. It may be challenging, but once you look the way you want, you'll be glad you stuck with it.

How You Can Cleanse Your Body With Water

Are you concerned with your health?  Do you feel sluggish or full of fatigue?  If so, there may be an underlying medical condition.  On the other hand, your body may be filled with unnatural chemicals, additives, and other toxins.  Many of these unnaturals are found in our food and drinks.  Ridding your body of these toxins and making it “pure,” again may help to restore your health, or at least your energy.

Although there are some disputes among medical professionals as to whether or not there are health benefits to body cleanses and body detoxes, may still opt to give it a try.  For many, the benefits outweigh the risks.  There are a number of ways to detoxify the body, but the use of water tends to be the most popular.  If you would like to try detoxifying your body with water, you may be wondering which approach to take.

One way that you can use water to detox or cleanse the body is with a water fast.  A water fast length can greatly vary, but many fast for no more than 5 days.  On a water fast, water is the only thing consumed.  Solids and other liquids are eliminated from your diet.  This allows your body to flush out and expels toxins, without having new ones added in.

Although many claim a water fast is the best way to detoxify the body, there are some risks involved.  No foods are consumed; therefore, your body will go without important nutrients for the length of your detox.  Since many of these nutrients are needed for energy, limited activity is recommended.  Many are encouraged not to maintain their normal exercise routine while on a water fast.  Once you resume eating healthy foods, at the conclusion of your water fast, you should notice an improvement in your energy levels.  In fact, you may feel “like new.”

A water fast, although it does come recommended, is not for everyone.  Even where fasting is used for religious purposes, exceptions are often made for those with health conditions.  For example, if you are taking prescription medicine, you should continue to do so while on a water fast.  However, before making the decision to fast only on water, speak to a healthcare professional.  In some cases, a fast can do more harm than good.  This is common with diabetes.

In addition to fasting and only consuming water, it can be used to aid in other methods.  For example, restricting calories or processed foods with additives.  When limiting your food intake, as well as additives, your body can begin to detox.  The process can be hurried along with the consumption of water.  For added benefits, eat foods that are high in fiber.  When combined, water and fiber can help to improve your digestive system, ensuring toxins are eliminated as our body originally intended.

In addition to whole body detoxification and cleansing, you will find colon cleaning.  Water fasting, as highlighted above, can aid in this as well. Another approach is with the salt water flush.  Although popular, the salt water flush does have some dangers, as your body will intake and may absorb high amounts of sodium.  Instructions vary depending on where you find the information, but most salt water flushes involve 1 quart of room temperature water and 2 teaspoons of sea salt.  It is recommended that you lay on your right side for about 30 minutes.  After that, you can move around, but you will be making multiple trips to the bathroom.

As you can see, there are a number of ways that water can help you detoxify or cleanse the body.  Before starting, closely examine your options.  For fastest results, a water fast is advised, but remember that there are risks associated with all dietary changes.  So, use your best judgment, listen to the warning signs your body displays, and seek the advice of a trained healthcare provider.

Body Detoxes and Their Benefits

Are you considering a body detox?  If so, you may have heard that there are a number of health benefits to undergoing one, but is this true?  Yes and no.  In all honesty, it depends on who you ask.

Before further discussing whether a body detox does have benefits, it is important to familiarize yourself with the detox process.  There are a number of ways for you to detoxify your body.  Three popular approaches include the Master Cleanse, water fasting, and juice fasting.  Water fasting and juice fasting involves only consuming water and juice respectively.  On the Mater Cleanse, you mix a drink with about 8 ounces of water, 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of grade b maple syrup.  The cleanse also includes a nightly senna tea and a morning salt-water flush.

When on the Master Cleanse, a water fast, or a juice fast, solids are eliminated from your diet.  Many healthcare professional state this is very risky.  Most of the risk assumed is associated with water fasting.  When fasting, your body receives no nutrients.  On a juice fast or the Master Cleanse, your body will not receive all needed nutrients, but some.  For that reason, many professional state that if you are going to cleanse, use either the Master Cleanse or juice fasting.

Although there is some concern about the lack of nutrients while on a detox fast or cleanse, there are benefits.  One benefit is weight loss.  When you do not eat solid foods, your calorie intake decreases drastically.  This will result in automatic weight loss, even without exercise.  Medical professional advise against fasting for the sole purpose of losing weight, but it can be a benefit to undergoing detox.

The greatest benefit of a body detox is that it does what it is supposed to do.  That is eliminating stored toxins and waste from your body.  These toxins enter our body through water, food, and the environment.  Although a small buildup is not uncommon, a large one can hurt your body.  When these toxins are expelled through bowel movements, urination, and sweat, you will notice a significant improvement in your health.  Many report an increase in energy, regularity, as well as better skin.

As previously stated, the Master Cleanse, water fasting, and juice fasting are three common and popular ways to detox.  Unfortunately, some find it difficult to go a week without solid foods.  If you are one of those individuals, you can detox in other ways.  Although not as full-proof, switching to organic foods, exercising, getting a full body wrap at a spa, or 5-day visits to the sauna can help your body expel toxins.

Since there are benefits to detoxifying the body, you may wish to get started right away.  Before doing so, review each of your detox options and find the approach that works best for you.  Also, decide on a plan of action for after your detox.  At the conclusion of your cleanse, you will have a cleaner and healthier body.  You can keep it that way by switching to organic foods, maintaining a healthy diet, and by exercising.

Although the above mentioned claims are widely disputed in the medical field, there are many men and women who will tell you to try a cleanse or body detox.  These individuals have seen success.  While each body varies, you will likely see those same results.  As a reminder, those results include weight loss, increased energy, an improvement in the skin’s appearance, and an overall feeling of healthiness.

5 Ways to Detox Your Body

Do you feel tired, sluggish, or just plain unhealthy?  If so, the answer to your problems may lay in a body detox, also commonly known as a body cleanse.  With a cleanse, you allow your body to expel the potentially harmful toxins it has accumulated throughout the years.  The end result should be an improvement in your health and overall wellbeing.

So, how can you cleanse or detoxify your body?  The good new is your options, as you have many.  Just five of the many ways that you can detoxify your body are outlined below.

1 – Eat Organic Foods

Toxins accumulate in our bodies for various reasons, but one main reason is all the unnatural foods we ingest.  Many of today’s popular products, including foods, snacks, and drinks, are ridden with unnatural chemicals.  Even with a healthy digestive system, not all of these toxins can be eliminated.  That is why a cleanse is recommended on occasion.

Since the main cause of toxin buildup in our bodies is the unnatural foods we consume, the easiest way to detoxify your body is to make the switch to organic foods.  With all natural ingredients, you are taking a break from the chemical and additive ridden foods currently on the market today.

When eating organic foods, it is best if you make the full-time switch to all-natural foods, but even just a few weeks or months of consuming organic only foods can help to improve your health.

2 – Water Fasting

Water fasting is a relatively quick way to detox your body, but it is an approach that many people find difficult.  This is due to the elimination of solid foods.  On average, a fast can last three to five days.  Any longer should be under the guide of a trained medical professional, as you may put your health at risk.

A water fast is popular due to your ability to lose weight.  If you do not eat solid foods, calories are not an issue.  This will automatically result in weight loss.  With that said, know that your weight loss will likely just be temporary.  When you resume eating, you will start to gain weight.  To maintain a healthy weight, stick with healthy foods.

3 – Juice Fasting

Juice fasting is similar to water fasting; only juice is consumed.  On the market, you will find a number of all-natural juices.  These juices are made without sugar and other unnatural additives.  You can also make your own juices at home with a juicer.  This approach is nice, as it allows you to experiment and find the best tasting juices.

Juice fasting has the same dangers as water fasting, as you are not consuming solid foods.  That is why extended juice fasts are advised against.  It is, however, the perfect alternative for those who fear that the tastelessness of water can ruin their fast.

4 – Increase Fiber Intake

Fiber is important to a healthy digestive system.  Since many studies have shown that most do not consume the recommended daily dose of fiber, it is no surprise that many experience a buildup of toxins in their bodies.  That is why foods that are high in fiber are recommended.  It is best to get your fiber through foods, such as raspberries, as opposed to fiber supplements.

By increasing your fiber intake, you should notice an improvement in your digestive system and regularity.  This may be enough to please you.  If you truly want to cleanse your body, it is best to combine fiber with healthy or all-natural, organic foods.

5 – Exercise

Unfortunately, when many individuals think of expelling toxins from the body, the bathroom automatically comes to mind.  Yes, this is the most common way to detox the body, but the human body also does so through sweating.  For that reason, exercise can help you detox your body.

As with increasing your fiber intake, exercise is recommended with healthy eating.  On the other hand, exercising and water or juice fasting does not go hand-in-hand.  When on a fast, you will notice a temporary decrease in energy, due in part to the elimination of solid foods.  You need to conserve your energy; therefore, strenuous exercise is not recommended while on a juice or water fast.

Contouring to Change Your Face

You might like to consider contouring to help change the look of or emphasize the structure of your face.

Contouring is a process whereby you use blushes and bronzing powders to give the contours of your face better definition.

Makeup artists have been using contouring for years particularly in the movie industry and in magazine photo shoots to give the illusion that the faces they are working on have a particular definition that they desire.

It is an art form similar to that of painting where different colors can create shading or highlighting.

It takes a lot of skill and time to create a good job when contouring a face and it is not something that you would like to do every day.

For special occasions however, and provided you have an experienced makeup artist to do the work for you, you could be amazed by the way they can transform anybody to look special for those particular occasions.

An experienced contourer will use a combination of colors in various different shades, and the skillful use of the makeup brush to create the illusion.

By applying shading they can add depth to areas of the face and use lighter colors for highlighting those areas that they want to stand out.

This talented use of color and brush work can create a facelift without the surgery.

Sometimes if the areas on your face that you're not particularly happy with concern you then it might well be worth spending some money to get someone to contour your face one day after discussing with them the look that you are after.

Once they have finished preparing your face to your satisfaction, you can get some simple techniques from them of the basic blending that you can use when applying your own makeup for an improved look.

Collagen Injections

Collagen is a liquid protein that is extracted from cowhide.
Collagen treatments are where this protein is infected into the skin with the intention of filling in wrinkles.

It is often used to reduce the appearance of lines from the nose to the upper lip and between the lower lip and the chin.

It is also injected into the lips to give them a fuller plumper look; however you are unlikely to look like Angelina Jolie from collagen injections to the lips.

The treatment is very fast and only lasts about 15 minutes but the results are only temporary, although they can last up to 6 months for some people.

Collagen injections are used more often these days for the treatment of skin irregularities such as scars, marks and indentations that have been caused by problems such as acne.

Collagen is more effective when it is injected into areas of the face where there are fewer muscles and less likelihood of muscles movement.

As some people can have an allergic reaction to collagen an allergy test is usually performed before collagen is injected into the face.

This test is usually done with a small injection of the liquid into the patients arm and if there is no reaction in the form of a rash or redness after a couple of weeks it is generally safe to use on other parts of the body.

When performed by a trained professional, collagen treatments can give a very natural looking result and this combined with the convenience of the treatments and the relatively economical cost is reason enough for many people to consider this as their preferred method of skin treatment.

More people now seem to prefer the use of Botox to reduce their wrinkles and for many it presents fewer problems than collagen treatments.

10 Memory Loss Remedies for Effective and Permanent Cure

Memory is a vital part of our existence, and loss of memory may be a sign of serious illness of brain. Memory loss puts one's identity at stake, and may occur due to several reasons. It may be defined as the brain's ability to retain and recognize past facts and events and cognitive reconstruction of events by the brain. It may be categorized in to short term and long term memory. Short term memory is concerned with recalling recent events and long term memory is concerned with remembering distant past.

Memory disorders like Alzheimer's disease destroy the memory controlling brain structures. This may lead to loss of short term memory while the long term memory may remain intact. In certain cases, memory may get shuffled or jumbled. Explicit and implicit memory is another type of classification. Explicit consists in conscious recollection of past facts and implicit is devoid of conscious recollection. Generally with age, explicit memory declines.

Memory loss or forgetfulness may be termed as amnesia. It may be partial or total, permanent or temporary. Amnesia may be of three types: transient global amnesia is total but temporary loss of all memory, anterograde amnesia is the failure to recall recent events and it occurs as an aftermath of trauma, retrograde amnesia consists in loss of the memory preceding a trauma but recovery of memory after trauma is possible in this case. Loss of memory is usually accompanied by symptoms like confusion, irritation and difficulty in completing tasks.

Natural Treatments For Depression - 6 Most Often Mentioned Alternative Depression Remedies

Natural treatments for depression are popular for many different reasons. What are the most often mentioned alternative depression treatments and how do they work?

Let's explore these six often discussed treatments:

St. John's wort - St. John's wort, is a small woody perennial that produces small yellow flowers which contain an oily red substance known as hypericin. The hypericin is the active ingredient in this medicinal herb. While St. John's has its detractors some research supports the assertion that St. Johns wort is as effective as certain antidepressant medications. This herb should not be used with prescription medications, even those not specially prescribed for depression such as birth control pills.

SAM-e - S-adenosylmethionine or SAM-e is widely available and considered to be somewhat of a general health tonic. SAM-e is involved with the production of several neurotransmitters. The brain normally products all the SAM-e it needs from the amino acid methionine. When a person is depressed, the synthesis of SAM-e from methionine is interrupted or reduced. SAM-e has been found to increase the neurotransmitters that are low when people have depression.

5-HTP or 5-Hyroxy Tryptophan - We have all heard of tryptophan especially around certain holidays and 5-HTP is just the new and improved version of this old family favorite. Tryptophan in the body can be converted into 5-HTP, which is then converted in serotonin, a chemical massager (neurotransmitter) that seems to have a positive influence on mood. There has been some concern voiced by the FDA as to its safety and for this reason many experts suggest getting your serotonin boost from turkey or sunflower seeds.

Omega-3 fatty acids - Omega-3 fatty acids play a role in the function of serotonin and dopamine (neurotransmitters) which are important in supporting and promoting healthy mood. These beneficial oils can be found in flax, seeds, soybeans, avocados, tofu, or fish or on the shelf of your favorite health food isle, in tablet or liquid form. Omega-3 fatty acids have many health benefits and can be taken in addition to most medications with the possible exception of blood thinners.

Vitamins and minerals - How many times did our parents tell us to take our vitamins? Current research suggests that they were right for any number of reasons including the fact that lack of certain nutrients can indeed lead to depression. Now, if you don't have a vitamin deficiency loading up on vitamins isn't going to cure you. On the other hand if you do have a deficiency in B6, B12, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, selenium, zinc, or sodium or any combination of the above this could in fact be the key to your depression.

Passionflower - This herb was first used for anxiety and insomnia and recent research suggests that it may be as effective as benzodiazepine drugs in the treatment of anxiety. Almost all depressed people show some signs of anxiety and passionflower is widely used in herbal remedies for the condition. There seems to be wisdom in this idea not only because anxiety may make depression worse but because unbridled anxiety can in fact lead to depression.

Additionally, if you are considering herbal remedies for depression there are a number of excellent options currently on the market. This natural  treatment approach has shown to be effective in cases of mild to moderate depression, especially when combined with cognitive behavior therapy.

Cosmic Ordering Secret - My Health Restoration

Hi I am a single mom of an awesome little boy. To me he is my life, and I cannot do without him. About three months earlier, I was breathing with difficulty while out for groceries and had to be admitted immediately. I was scared out of my wits then, thinking "Nothing must happen to me, who would take care of my son if I'm ill or down with something horrible?"

They took my blood, and did a few scans. Eventually, they diagnosed it as an weight issue. Even though my weight was just slightly above the average for my height, things were actually rather bad. The doctors were telling me I really gotta keep my weight down as soon as possible, which was rather difficult.

That was when I came across Cosmic Ordering Secret when I was researching online resources for the fastest way to lose weight. To begin, Cosmic Ordering Secret reveals the awesome secret that we can Order whatever we want, perfectly legal of course, from the universe. Zoey Knightley, the author of the book, goes into detail, starting first with case studies of people who used Cosmic Ordering to attain their success, and then her own personal experience.

Next, she goes in-depth into how to create a Cosmic Order, the resources and tools to use and so on. In particular, I learned this technique - visualization. I never came across such a mind technique before, and it opened my mind to a lot of things. Now, I do a lot of visualization, and my whole life just became more positive.

The package for Cosmic Ordering Secret also comes with a few bonus reports or books. One of them is5 Common Foods That Boost Your Connection With The Universe. It was just what I needed at that time. I incorporated the foods as much as I could in my diet.
It was as if the Ordering heard me and granted my wish, because my college friend whom I lost in touch with suddenly found me through Facebook and connected with me, because they were planning a reunion among our college circle.

She was a fitness trainer and when she heard of my situation, she immediately dropped everything and flew in to help me. I cried that day. She agreed with the content written in the bonus report and tailored an exercise and diet regime specially for me. Together with the knowledge I gained from Cosmic Ordering Secret, I started on the regime day and night.

Another useful report is the 7 Ways To Vanquish Energy Blocks. I find it very useful because it is an all-rounded guide for me to clear the energy blocks that were holding me back from getting my health back.

I am very grateful that my Ordering has been accepted and made true. I now regularly offer my gratitude to the universe for the health it restored to me. Now I truly cherish my health and make an every effort to keep healthy so that I can be around for my boy as long as I can.

Don't underestimate the Cosmic Ordering force, because it WILL better your life!

Chakra Activation System

Have you ever wondered if the Universe is really out to get you? On a typical bad day, I used to get this recurring thought—when a passing car splashes dirty water on my skirt; when a bumps into me and spills my coffee; when my boss finds a mistake in my report and starts criticizing everything else. You name it, I've probably experienced it.

It just seemed like nothing good was ever going to happen to me. And it wasn't as if I didn't try. I tried going on blind dates, in search of someone who could share my burdens and lighten my load. I tried taking vitamin supplements to wake myself up in the mornings when I drag my feet to another work day. I even tried to bond with my colleagues by inviting them to a party but to unsurprisingly, no one showed up.

In time, I just got really unmotivated to lift my head up in the mornings. What was the point when everything seemed to be going wrong? To make matters worse, I seemed to have a nagging headache that never went away. Thankfully I had my best friend Carly. Perhaps the Universe wasn't all that set against me because it did give me Carly after all.

Carly had been working abroad for a couple of years but we'd kept in touch. She finally came back for a visit recently and got a shock when she saw me. At first I was bewildered by her reaction, but she told me, "Gosh, you look really pale and...well to be honest you look like a walking corpse."

On the contrary, Carly looked amazing. Her skin was glowing, her hair was full of bounce, and most of all, her smile was so genuine and filled with happiness that it almost hurt to look at her worried expression.

We went to a coffee shop nearby and I told her about my perpetual bad days. I didn't tell her about them while she was still overseas because I didn't want her to worry. After hearing my long rant, she took her laptop out and made me read this thing called Chakra Activation System while she patiently read a book alongside me.

At first I was really confused. "Why was Carly showing me this nonsense?" I thought. I had never heard of the term "chakra" before. But as I read on, I found myself getting more intrigued with every page. Some of the things the author, Stephanie, highlighted were spot-on; they were happening with me almost every day!
I quickly realized that my Root chakra and Throat chakra were in perilous imbalance. So that night, Carly came over to my place and taught me some breathing techniques she'd learnt from the book, and we practiced them together. I also tried out some physical exercises for healing my Throat chakra, which were so easy to do because the instructions were so clear.

The next day, I went to work with an improved attitude because the headache that had plagued me for weeks was completely gone! I thought it might just be a coincidence, but during work, the colleague whom I'd deemed too cool to come to my party stopped by my desk and asked if I'd done something new with my hair. She said I looked better somehow.

I was convinced it must be the result of my chakra exercises, so that night I practiced some affirmations that Stephanie provided in the book. They gave me a sense of calm and peace that I'd never felt before.

For the rest of the week, I diligently followed Stephanie's recommendations and found myself feeling lighter and happier than ever. Meal times were a colorful affair thanks to my newfound knowledge of specific chakra-boosting foods. Soon after, my colleagues started asking me out to lunch—something they'd never done before. It was probably due to the fact that my Heart chakra had been severely imbalanced as well, causing me to give off negative energy.

Nowadays, going to work excites me. I was free of headaches, I finally had friends to eat lunch with, and as a result my productivity soared. My boss was so pleased with my work that he commended me in front of everyone at the annual office party. Not to mention, I have a date coming up this Friday! I am truly grateful to Carly for introducing me to Chakra Activation System, and I can't emphasize how much everyone needs Stephanie's guidance in their life!

REIKI Healing

A few months back, a friend introduced something to me, claiming that "it's one of the best products I've ever seen, man! You gotta try it!" Apparently not only was it affordable, it could cure me of practically any disease known to man.

Yeah. Right. You'll have to excuse my flippant tone because... seriously? If that isn't too good to be true, I don't know what is.That was my exact reaction the first time my friend raved about Pure Reiki Healing. And for good reason, too.

You see, I've suffered from rashes and eczema since I was a kid, and trust me when I tell ya, it ain't fun. I need to get regular jabs to alleviate the symptoms of my very annoying condition, so not only is it not fun, it's expensive too.

So when I was recommended Pure Reiki Healing - a home study course about Reiki... something I had absolutely the faintest idea of - I scoffed at the mere idea. How could a simple home study course about something I had never even heard of succeed where modern medicine had failed time and time again?

My friend wouldn't let up about it, insisting that I give it a shot. So to shut him up, I did.

Pure Reiki Healing delves into an Oriental healing art called "Reiki". According to Owen Coleman - the creator of the program - the original art of Reiki was developed in the 1920s, by a Japanese Buddhist named Mikao Usui. Reiki makes use of the universal energy force Ki, or Chi, and manifests it for self-healing purposes, or to heal others.

According to the theory of Ki, people fall ill because the Ki is unable to flow smoothly to the different parts of the body, resulting in a blockage that hinders the natural flow of Ki.
Now, for someone pragmatic like myself, you might think that I might scoff at the idea of "energy" and "blockages" having anything to do with physical ailments.

To be honest, I did scoff at the idea. Initially, at least. Then I thought, "I already have the program, I've spent my money, why not just try for the heck of it?" I did give it a try, and I have to admit... I'm glad that I gave Pure Reiki Healing a shot. Why?

For starters, Pure Reiki Healing consists of 3 manuals, videos, Reiki meditation music, and a certification system that you can use to generate your very own certificate once you've completed the home study course.

This program is all about healing, and covers a variety of healing techniques for daily ailments that the common, "average Joe" might suffer from in this day and age.

Stuff like colds, flus, fevers, digestive disorders, sinus problems, neck and shoulder tension, anger, heart problems... even spinal issues... almost anything you can think of, Pure Reiki Healing has it covered, promising that you can alleviate such conditions with Reiki self treatment techniques.

For anyone who's suffering from any type of chronic disease, that makes for a very convincing buy, especially when you consider the one-time price of the program itself versus the huge bill waiting for you at the end of every trip to the doctor's. (It's worse for those of us who aren't covered under a proper insurance plan.)

Yet, Pure Reiki Healing is not just about giving you the tools to cure yourself, but rather the opportunity to change your life for the better.

The program also reveals the 5 Reiki Principles that will help you achieve balance and substance in your life, an example of this being, "Just for today, I will not worry."
Now that - at first glance - may seem simplistic, but the idea behind invoking such an affirmation is to remind us that our worries affect our bodies just as much as it affects our minds, so by cleansing ourselves of worry from both body and mind is the first step to enriching our health, and ultimately the quality of our life.

Pure Reiki Healing seems to have been created in such a way that the program not only allows you to self heal, but also to enable you to give the gift of healing to others.

Once you've mastered the healing techniques and received the necessary attunements, you're able to use your newfound healing abilities on your loved ones, to alleviate their ills - both physical and mental - and enrich their lives as well.

Pure Reiki Healing, with its scope of healing aspects and broad range, allows you to take what you learn and use it to help others. What makes this a worthy buy is the demonstration videos, which show and explain every technique step by step, as if you were attending a live Reiki demonstration, right there in the comfort of your own living room.

That, for me, definitely helped speed things along in my education of Reiki.
I've already completed the entire course - all 3 levels of Reiki - within just 2 weeks, and since then I've not only been able to treat my rashes and eczema, but also I feel that much healthier, more vibrant than I have ever felt in years. Because of that - and its affordability - I can confidently say that Pure Reiki Healing is a recommended buy.

Best Natural Supplements for Anxiety

According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), about forty million American adults suffer from some form of anxiety disorder. The research also shows that anxiety is the #1 mental health problem among American women and is second only to alcohol and drug abuse among men.

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress and can actually be beneficial in some situations. For instance if you are going to take a test or give a speech, your anxiety motivates you to thoroughly prepare. However, if your anxiety affects your day-to-day living and lasts for more than six months, you may need to seek help from your doctor to see if you have an anxiety disorder.

Whether you have a full-blown anxiety disorder or are just experiencing temporary anxiety, you may want to try some of these natural supplements to relieve your anxiety symptoms. Some of the best natural supplements for anxiety on the market today are discussed below. Some of these supplements start working right away, while others may help lessen anxiety over time.

Passionflower

Passionflower is a plant. The parts of the plant above the ground are used to make medicine. This plant is used for insomnia, gastrointestinal upset, anxiety, GAD, and narcotic drug withdrawal. The Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database rates the scientific evidence of passionflower as possibly effective for anxiety. They also state that there is evidence that passionflower can sometimes reduce symptoms of anxiety, as effectively as some prescription medications.

Passionflower helps produce rest and natural sleep without a "drugged" feeling and it can help decrease blood pressure. The sedative properties of passionflower make it useful for calming the nervous system and promoting sleep.

Passionflower is found in combination with other sedative herbs such as chamomile, hops, kava, skullcap and valerian to promote calmness and relaxation. Passionflower can be taken in 250 mg capsules or 1 ml tincture form or 4 to 8 grams daily.

Since passionflower causes drowsiness, don't take it when you are also taking a prescription sedative. Avoid passionflower during pregnancy. Don't take passionflower for longer than one month at a time.

Passionflower is generally safe for most people when taken for less than two months. It is possibly unsafe if taken in large amounts. Some people experience side effects such as dizziness, confusion, irregular coordination, inflamed blood vessels, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and a rapid heart rate.

Kava

Kava has been used on the islands of the South Pacific for over 300 years. Numerous studies have been done on kava's ability to relieve anxiety. There is strong evidence proving that kava is superior to placebo in treating anxiety and comparable to tricyclic antidepressants (Asendin and Norpramin) and to low doses of benzodiazepines (Xanax).

Kava can be taken as a capsule, tincture or extract form. There is not a standard dosage but successful clinical studies have used dosages from 210 mg per day to 400 mg per day. Check with your doctor prior to taking any dosage of kava.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued warnings about the potential for kava to cause severe liver damage. However, kava sales have not been banned in the United States. I would avoid using kava, especially if you have liver problems or take medications that affect your liver. Other possible side effects are blurred vision, nausea, loss of appetite, and shortness of breath.

Valerian

Valerian is a wild plant with pink or white flowers that grows in damp places. Numerous studies were done on the effects of valerian on sleep and it was discovered that valerian improved anxiety, mood and general well-being along with insomnia. The people in Europe have been using valerian for over 100 years to treat menopausal nervous anxiety, hysteria, and nervous irritability. Valerian was even used during World War I as a tranquilizer to treat soldiers suffering from shell shock.

Most people take valerian as a capsule or tincture. If taken for insomnia it should be taken in the evening 30 to 90 minutes before bedtime. If taken for anxiety it should be divided into two or three doses throughout the day.

Valerian is generally considered safe at the recommended guidelines. Start at a low dose and gradually increase the dosage. Side effects may include mild headaches, nausea, nervousness, and palpitations. However, controlled studies are rather vague about the side effects of valerian and report only that they are low.

L-theanine (or green tea)

The amino acid in green tea is called L-theanine. It helps you relax and calms mind chatter. L-theanine is involved in the production of GABA, a neurotransmitter that has a calming effect. GABA also helps neutralize glutamate, a brain chemical that causes excitement.

Research shows that L-theanine helps curb a rising heart rate and blood pressure, and a few small human studies have found that it reduces anxiety. In one study, anxiety-prone subjects were calmer and more focused during a test if they took 200 milligrams of L-theanine beforehand.

L-theanine is safe for most people. Some people may experience stomach upset and constipation.

Lemon balm

Lemon balm has been used at least since the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, and help with sleep. Lemon balm is a slightly warming, sweet-tasting herb that also acts as a mild anti-depressant. In one study of healthy volunteers, those who took standardized lemon balm extracts (600 mg) were more calm and alert than those who took a placebo.

Lemon balm is sold as a tea, capsule, and tincture. It's often combined with other calming herbs such as hops, passionflower, chamomile, and valerian.

Lemon balm is generally safe, but side effects of increased anxiousness were noted on subjects who took an excessive amount of lemon balm. Just make sure to start with a smaller dose. If pregnant, use only half the suggested amount.

Chamomile

Chamomile has been used for various health conditions for thousands of years. It is used today for sleeplessness, anxiety and gastrointestinal upset. Some compounds in chamomile bind to the same brain receptors as drugs like Valium.

In one study at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, in Philadelphia, patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) who took chamomile supplements for eight weeks had a significant decrease in anxiety symptoms compared to patients taking a placebo.

Chamomile can be taken as a liquid extract, or in capsule or tablet form.

Side effects include allergic reactions such as skin rashes, swelling of the throat, shortness of breath and anaphylaxis. These side effects may occur with people who are allergic to related plants in the daisy family.

Omega-3s (fish oil)

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to normal brain function. They contain EPA and DHA and are crucial in dealing with stress. There is preliminary evidence that they influence serotonin production. Scientific studies show that fish oil has a positive effect in treating anxiety. In one study, students who took 2.5 milligrams a day of mixed omega-3 fatty acids for 12 weeks had less anxiety before an exam than students taking a placebo.

Fish oil is safe for most people when taken in low doses. There are some safety concerns when taken in high doses. Don't take more than 3 grams per day. Some side effects include belching, bad breath, heartburn, nausea, loose stools, rash and nosebleeds. If you take these supplements with a meal, it can decrease these side effects. Do not take fish oil supplements if you have a seafood allergy.

B-Complex Vitamins

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) can help alleviate depression and anxiety attacks.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) aids in the production of natural antidepressants such as dopamine and norepinephrine. The body requires B6 to make serotonin.

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) helps relieve irritability, improve concentration, increase energy, and maintain a healthy nervous system.

Vitamin B3 (niacin) helps with anxious feelings and is calming.

During high levels of stress the B vitamins are burned up and consumed at higher levels. Research has shown that the majority of the emotionally ill are deficient in one or more of the B-complex vitamins. Studies also show that the B vitamins are natural stress reducers and that not getting enough of them can cause anxiety.

Suggested use is to take one 100 mg time released B-complex vitamin daily after a meal. It is suggested that if you are going through a very stressful period of time that you take a vitamin B3 in the form of niacinamide at 100 mg three times a day.

B-Complex vitamins are safe for most people. However, the possible side effects of vitamin B12 in some people are diarrhea, blood clots, itching, serious allergic reactions. The possible side effect of vitamin B6 if taken at high levels for longer that a year can cause severe nerve damage. The symptoms usually stop when you stop taking the supplements. Other symptoms include painful skin patches, sensitivity to sunlight, nausea and heartburn.

I chose these as the best natural supplements for anxiety because they were scientifically researched more than other types of natural suppplements. In addition, they have been proven to be effective in controlling anxiety. However, there are other types of natural supplements for anxiety such as 5-HTP, GABA, St. Johns Wort, SAME, Vitamin E, Trace Minerals, Ashwaghanda, Rhodiola, L-arginine, L-lysine and L-tyrosine. They are often used for anxiety, but have not been studied as thoroughly. They are still undergoing clinical research for their effectiveness on anxiety. Therefore, until further research is done, my pick for the best natural supplements for anxiety are: passionflower, kava, valerian, l-theanine, lemon-balm, chamomile, omega-3, and B-complex vitamins.

If you're considering taking any herbal supplement as a treatment for anxiety, talk to your doctor first, especially if you take other medications. The interaction of some herbal supplements and certain medications can cause serious side effects.

If your anxiety is interfering with daily activities, talk with your doctor. More serious forms of anxiety generally need medical treatment or psychological counseling (psychotherapy) for symptoms to improve
